How does the Network Security Audit find vulnerabilities?

Using industry standard probing methods, we scan computers for open ports, check for services running on computers, and check known vulnerabilities to gain information about your network. We manually verify the correct configuration of servers. We also check physical security and backup practices.

What impact will the Network Security Audit have on my traffic load?

While our scanners will place additional traffic on your network, they are designed to adjust themselves so they don't overload the network. If you are concerned about network traffic, we can schedule our scans to run at off-peak times.

How long does an audit take?

Simple audits can be completed in two days. Complex audits can take up to two months. It depends upon the size and complexity of your network and the depth of the scan you want.
